Packers shuffle offensive line after poor outing

August 15, 2006 By WRN Contributor

After a poor performance in the Packers preseason opener at San Diego, Mike McCarthy is shuffling the deck. Second round pick Daryn Colledge was the starter at left guard. He's been demoted to the second team and the Packers coaching staff has moved rookie Jason Spitz from right guard to left guard and backup right tackle Tony Moll, a 5th round pick out of Nevada, has moved into the right guard spot during workouts on Monday. The coaches say the moves aren't necessarily permanent and Colledge could earn his way back into the starting spot at left guard.
