Two Bucks to play in World Championships

Bucks All-Rookie First Team center Andrew Bogut and forward Ersan Ilyasova will represent Australia and Turkey, respectively, in the upcoming 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan. Team USA will open their 5-game Preliminary Round schedule against Puerto Rico on Saturday. Bogut and his Australia teammates will face Brazil in their opener, before facing Turkey and Ilyasova on August 20. Twenty-four teams qualified for the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan and are pooled into four groups of six teams each.
