Dodgers end 3-game slide, beat Brewers

September 7, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Derek Lowe allowed just 3-hits and an unearned run in 8-innings to lead the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 2-1 win over the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park on Wednesday night. Chris Capuano was the hard luck loser for the Brewers. He also worked 8 innings, allowing just 2 runs on 5 hits, but falls to 11-10 and 1-6 in his last seven starts. Geoff Jenkins, Corey Hart and Kevin Mench had the three Brewers hits. Milwaukee sees it's 2-game win streak come to an end. They're off today and open a 3-game homer series against Houston on Friday night.
