James leads Marquette to 7-0 start

November 28, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Dominic James' 3-pointer with three seconds left to play gave 8th-ranked Marquette a 65-62 win over Valparaiso in Valparaiso, Indiana on Monday night.

James scored 15 of his 22 points in the final 6+ minutes of the second half to lead the Golden Eagles to their 7th straight win (7-0) to start the season.

Valparaiso had one final chance but Brandon McPherson's long shot missed at the buzzer.  The Crusaders fell to 3-2 with the loss.
