Badgers' Dowell is WCHA's Player of the Week

December 13, 2006 By WRN Contributor

Wisconsin left winger Jake Dowell, who led the Badgers to their first sweep of the season with a pair of road wins over nationally-ranked North Dakota last weekend, has been named the WCHA's Player of the Week.

The native from Eau Claire, Wis., Dowell scored three goals and added an assist in the two Badger victories.

Dowell leads the Badgers in goals scored with 11 in the first 18 games.  He's second on the team in points with 13.
