UW-Green Bay wins tournament opener

The UW-Green Bay Phoenix got a career high 16 points from sophomore Terry Evans and forward Josh Lawrence added 15 on their way to a 90-67 win over Jacksonville State in the opening round of the Oneida Casino Holiday Classic at the Resch Center in Green Bay.

Ryan Evanochko scored 15 points and Mike Schachtner added 13 for the Phoenix who improved to 6-6 on the season. 

Green Bay is off tonight.  They'll host Michigan Tech in the second round of the 3-day event on Friday night.
