It's all in the family for the Landry's

January 17, 2007 By WRN Contributor

When the 2nd ranked Wisconsin Badgers host the Purdue Boilermakers in Big Ten action at the Kohl Center tonight, the Landry brothers will be squaring off in a competitive game for the very first time.

Marcus, a sophomore, plays for the Badgers.  He's Wisconsin's top reserve and averages 6.9-points a game.  Carl is a senior.  He's returning after a year off rehabbing an ACL injury and is averaging 19.6-points a game, 3rd in the Big Ten.

Carl Landry is the center of the Purdue offense as the Boilermakers try to make a push for the post-season.

Wisconsin carries a 13-game win streak into play tonight and is 17-1 overall on the season.  Purdue hasn't won a Big Ten road game in 19 attempts, dating back to 2004.
