January 30, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay men's basketball team will travel to DeKalb, Illinois to face Northern Illinois on Feb. 17th in the ESPNU BracketBuster event.

The two teams played against one another in the Mid-American Conference.  The Huskies are just 4-15 on the season and 1-6 in league play.  The Phoenix is 12-10 and 4-5 in the Horizon League.

Green Bay leads the all-time series with the Huskies 22-5 though the teams haven't met since UW-Green Bay moved to the Midwest Collegiate Conference (now the Horizon League) for the 1997-98 season.

This will be the fourth straight year that the Phoenix has competed in the BracketBusters pool and the first time it will play on the road.  UW-Green Bay has lost its first three games in the series including a 68-64 defeat at the hands of Fairleigh Dickinson last season.

UW-Milwaukee also missed out on the the televised portion of the BracketBuster event.  They'll will play a road game at Drake.
