Anderson wins league scoring title, Badgers lose

February 26, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Jolene Anderson scored 26 points on Sunday to win the Big Ten scoring title, but the  Wisconsin Badgers lost to the Iowa Hawkeyes in Iowa City, 103-93.

The Badgers 918-11, 7-9) finished the Big Ten regular season in a 4-way tie for 5th place in the Conference.  That means the Badgers secured the #7 seed and will face 10th seeded Michigan State in the opening round of the Big Ten Tournament in Indianapolis on Thursday.

The Badgers turned the ball over 16 times to 11 for Iowa.
