Butch could be out for the rest of the season

February 26, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Wisconsin Badger junior forward Brian Butch sustained a dislocation with an associated fracture of the right elbow in Sunday's game at Ohio State.  The injury carries with it an anticipated 4-6 week recovery time, potentially ending Butch's season.  But was injured in the first half of the Badgers' game as he tried to brace himself during a fall.

Butch started 29 games for the Badgers this season, ranking third on the team in scoring (8.8 points per game) and leading the squad in rebounding (5.9 rebounds per game).  In 15 conference games, he was averaging 6.5 points and 5.1 rebounds.
