Packers to play on Thanksgiving

March 27, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Green Bay Packers will play on Thanksgiving Day this season.  The NFL made the announcement during the league's owner meetings yesterday.

The Packers will face the Detroint Lions in the early FOX game at 11:30am.

The last time the Packers played on Thanksgiving Day, they lost to the Detroit Lions 22-14 in 2003.  The Packers are 11-18-2 all time on Turkey Day.

The rest of the NFL schedule will be released next month (April).
