19,031 show up for Indians/Angels in Milwaukee

April 11, 2007 By WRN Contributor

While 10,883 fans showed up to watch the Brewers and Florida Marlins in Miami last night, a total of 19,031 fans showed up at Miller Park in Milwaukee to watch the Cleveland Indians pull out a 7-6 win over the Los Angeles Angels.

After four days off because of bad weather in Cleveland, the Indians finally played a game.  And it was the Indians 8 and 9 hitters in the order that did most of the damage.  Andy Marte and Kelly Shoppach combined to drive in five runs.

The large crowd was a total surprise and a welcomed site for the Indians, who will face the Angels again tonight.
