Packers take two Linebackers in the 6th

April 29, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Green Bay took a pair of linebackers in the 6th round  of the draft, but only one will stay at linebacker.  With the 191st overall pick the team took Boise State linebacker Korey Hall.  He was a 2nd Team All-American by the Sporting News, but the Packers say they will move the 6'1, 228 pounder to fullback.

With the 192nd pick overall in the 6th round, Ted Thompson grabbed Cal linebacker Desmond Bishop.  He has been called “The Pulse” of the Cal defense on his way to leading the Pac-10 in tackles.  He played middle linebacker in college but with Nick Barnett and Abdul Hodge at that position he'll move to the outside in Green Bay.
