Brewers Win 3rd Straight

May 7, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Prince Fielder belted two-home runs, drove in 3 and scored the go ahead run as the Brewers knocked off the Pirates 6-4 at Miller Park Sunday.  The 2-home runs give Prince 9 on the year.

Bill Hall's 8 th inning pinch-hit RBI single gave the Brewers the lead. JJ Hardy went 2 for 4 extending his hitting streak to 17 games.

Carlos Villanueva picked up the win in relief throwing 1 1/3 shutout innings and Francis Cordero notched save number 12.

The Nationals head to Miller Park this evening to open a 3 game set.

Bill Hall says you need to stay loose when you don't start in case you number is called. :18
