Bucks pick up options on Bogut and Villanueva

June 22, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Milwaukee Bucks have picked up the final option years on the contracts of center Andrew Bogut and forward Charlie Villanueva.

Bogot was the first player selected in the 2005 draft.  Villanueva went 7th overall that same year.  Both are now under contract through the 2008-09 season.

The Bucks also made qualifying offers to restricted free agent guard Charlie Bell and forward Ersan Ilyasova.  That gives the Bucks the right to match any offers by other teams.
