June 12, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The updated voting for the All-Star game was released Monday.

Brewers first baseman Prince Fielder made a big jump in the all-star voting this past week.  The National League home run leader trailed Cardinal first baseman Albert Pujols by 85,000 votes last week.  This week that lead is down to 45,000 votes.

J.J. Hardy remains in second place in the NL short stop race behind the New York Mets Jose Reyes.  He trails Reyes by over 200,000 votes.

Johnny Estrada remains in 4th place among NL Catchers.  Rickie Weeks dropped to 4th among National League second baseman.

Geoff Jenkins dropped from 9th to 10th in the outfield voting while Bill Hall dropped from 10th to 13th.

Voting continues until June 28th.
