Kelly qualifies for US Open

June 5, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Jerry Kelly will join fellow Madison native Steve Stricker at the US Open golf tournament next week.

Kelly was one of 24 players to make the field during Open Qualifying yesterday.  Stricker, who tied for 6th at the 2006 US Open, was exempt from qualifying.

** Fred Funk, Joey Sindelar and Jeff Sluman have all committed to play in this summers US Bank Championship in July.  The trio of golfers have a combined 21 PGA Tour wins between them.
