British Open & U.S. Bank

July 20, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Wisconsin natives Steve Stricker and Jerry Kelly are competing in the British Open at Carnoustie.  Steve Stricker fired an even par 71 on Thursday while Kelly shot a 3-over par 74.  Sergio Garcia dazzled the course for a six-under 65.

Jeff Maggert and Brandon du Jonge lead the U.S. Bank Championship in Milwaukee after one round.  Both are 7-under par. Garrett Willis is one shot back at -6.  Appleton native JP Hayes is -3 after one round.

U.S. Bank co-leader Jeff Maggert likes Brown Deer Park. :18
