Rep. Gronemus announces retirement

July 11, 2007 By WRN Contributor

After a quarter century serving in the State Assembly, Representative Barbara Gronemus (D-Whitehall) says she will step down at the end of her current term in office.

The Whitehall Democrat is currently serving her 13th term in the State Assembly. She says it's been a proud time in her life serving Western Wisconsin. Gronemus says she'll miss serving the state, but she's looking forward to spending more time with her family and fishing.

Gronemus announced her plans to retire during Tuesday's Assembly floor session.
