Legislators are being urged to help make Wisconsin a healthier state. Wisconsin received an overall B-minus grade in a recent report card from the UW Population Health Institute , and the author is asking legislators to help improve the score. Doctor Patrick Remington is the Institute's Director. "There's some policies being considered in the legislature that would help improve Wisconsin's health," says Remington. "Raising the cigarette tax would help reduce smoking among kids and adults." Also, Remington says, providing health care coverage for all state residents.
