Badgers start fall practice today

Bret Bielema The 7th ranked Wisconsin football team (preseason USA Today Top 25 Coaches Poll) starts fall training camp this afternoon. 

Head coach Bret Bielema enters his second year at the helm of the Badgers after a record-setting rookie season in 2006. 

The 105-man roster begins three weeks of training camp which runs through August 25.  The Badgers play their season opener against Washington State on September 1, at Camp Randall Stadium.

The Badgers are coming off a school record 12 wins last season and return 49 letterwinners and 18 starters from the 2006 squad.

The Badgers have been picked to finish second in the Big Ten, behind Michigan.
