Badgers survive in Vegas, but fall in polls

September 10, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Wisconsin Badgers survived a scare in the desert on Saturday night, needing a late 29-yard touchdown run by quarterback Tyler Donovan to beat UNLV 20-13 in Las Vegas.

The Badgers improved to 2-0, but the voters in the A.P. Top 25 weren't impressed.  Wisconsin dropped from 5th to 7th in the A.P. Top 25 poll.

Wisconsin carries the nation's longest active win streak into that game at 11 games.  They'll host the Citadel this Saturday at Camp Randall.
