Badger women's hockey pulls off weekend sweep

Senior Emily Morris recorded a goal and three assists as the No. 1 Wisconsin women's hockey team extended its unbeaten streak to 28 games with an 11-0 victory over Union College Saturday night.

Junior Angie Keseley added two goals and two assists while Meghan Duggan, Kyla Sanders and Hilary Knight tallied two goals apiece as the Badgers (2-0-0 overall) moved to within two games of the NCAA record for the longest unbeaten streak.

Sophomore Alannah McCready made 14 saves in her first career start to earn her first career victory and shutout. 

The Badgers return to Madison to play host to Robert Morris Oct. 5-6 at the Kohl Center.
