Wells out with eye injury

Scott Wells Green Bay Packers center Scott Wells is expected to miss Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins after he suffered a broken eye socket in Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears.

Jason Spitz will start in Wells place against the Redskins on Sunday.  The Packers are hoping Wells can return to the lineup when the Packers play their next game at Denver on Monday, Oct. 29th. 

Following the Redskins game, the Packers get a week off due to a bye in their schedule.
