Packers take early lead on Panthers with punt return

November 18, 2007 By WRN Contributor

The Carolina Panthers put John Kasay in punt formation and his pooch punt was taken by Packers returnman Tramon Williams at the 6 and he went 94 yards for the games opening touchdown.

The 94 yard return tied Mark Lee's return of the same distance in 1981.  Steve Odom holds the all time team record of 95 yards back in 1974.

7:49 left in the first quarter and the Packers have a 7-0 lead on the Carolina Panthers.
