Tuesday's legislative calendar was supposed to include a special session on campaign finance reform. That didn't happen, but an advocate in the Senate insists it will, and include an expanded ban on fundraising during the budget. Middleton Democrat, Sen. Jon Erpenach, says voters have grown cynical over legislative inaction on reform, but he and Neenah Republican Mike Ellis remain serious about advancing the issue. Erpenbach says he hopes to have a package of reform measures ready after the first of the year.
