Stricker voted PGA Tour comeback player of the year

December 12, 2007 By WRN Contributor

Madison's Steve Stricker is the "Comeback Player of the Year" on the PGA Tour this year, making him the first player to capture the award in consecutive seasons.

Stricker won in 2006 after starting the year with conditional status and finished 34th on the money list.

This year, he won for the first time in more than six years and was fourth on the money list, moving into the top five in the World Golf Rankings.

Tiger Woods was named the PGA Tour's Player of the Year for a 3rd straight year.
