G-Force nun will be at Lambeau

January 11, 2008 By WRN Contributor

A Catholic nun from Manitowoc will be the honorary "G-Force Captain" at the playoff game between the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks. Sister Sean Marie won a Packers essay contest which she entered on a whim. "It only took me about ten minutes to do," said Sister Marie. "I sent it in, and I forgot about it."

Sister Sean Marie recieved two tickets to the game, and a chance to take part in the pre-game coin toss. The essay winner says she was raised with football, knows the sport inside and out, and even attended the famous "Ice Bowl" game with her father forty years ago. Her winning essay says "loyalty, enthusiasm, positive thinking and prayer for the safety of the players are my qaulifications for being an honorary captain."
