Honors for the Red Arrow Division

February 26, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Another honor for a highly-decorated fighting unit from Wisconsin.

The Assembly Transportation Committee has approved a bill allowing members and former members of the 32nd Brigade or Division to place Red Arrow decals for their license plates.

State Representative Terry Musser (R-Black River Falls) is the sponsor of the measure. He says the 32nd Division during WWII still has the distinction of being the longest serving unit in combat. Current members have even been activated to go back to the war in Iraq later this year.

Musser says the recognition is long overdue.
