Marine faces charges for relationship with teen

February 1, 2008 By WRN Contributor

A Marine from Marshall is facing charges for a sexual relationship with teenager.

Police say 20-year-old Christopher Kratsky of Marshall has admitted to carrying on a sexual relationship with a 13-year-old girl from Portage. However, Lieutenant Mark Hahn says Kratsky seemed to think he was being responsible because he made sure the girl did her homework before they engaged in sexual activity.

Hahn says Kratsky is also adamant about carrying on the relationship. He told police that even if they put him in prison for 30 years, he's coming back for the girl.

Kratsky is a Marine and was set to ship out this week. Instead, he's been charged with three felony counts of sexual assault.
