Badger poll shows presidential tossup

April 28, 2008 By WRN Contributor

None of the three presidential candidates has a majority of support among Wisconsin voters, according to the University of Wisconsin Survey Center's Badger Poll . Results released Monday show Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona has a lead over Democratic New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton 47 percent to 41 percent, while Democratic Illinois Sen. Barack Obama leads McCain 47 percent to 43 percent. But because those results are within the poll's 5.3% margin of error, the bottom line is that the outcome in Wisconsin is a tossup. The random poll of 521 people was conducted between April 15 and 24.
