Election flip off

For a split second, the fate of a Clark County Board race was hanging in the air… literally. Loyal-area board member Chuck Rueth and challenger David Clintsman tied with 93 votes in Tuesday's election. Following statute, the Board of Canvassers, led by County Clerk Christina Jensen, relied on a flip of a coin. Clintsman won the toss, which means he unseats Rueth, who's already requested a recount.
