Longtime lawmaker seeks reelection

The longest-serving state legislator in the nation decides to seek a 12th four-year term. Wisconsin state senator Fred Risser (D-Madison) is 81-years old, but not yet done with the people's business. The senate president, who also maintains a full-time law practice in Madison, is also on several legislative committees, including the Senate Ethics and Government Affairs Committee and the State Building Commission.
