Former veterans secretary backs McCain

July 23, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Ray Boland calls Barack Obama's annnounced intention to move troops from Iraq to Afghanistan "fairly obvious," given the success of operations in Iraq. Conceding that voters will consider more than just Iraq when making a decision, Boland says McCain has also demonstrated a bipartisan willingness to work that the nation needs right now.
