Badgers beat Akron with power running game

P.J. Hill The Wisconsin Badgers returned to the days of the power running game, rolling up more than 400 rushing yards (404) in a 38-17 win over the Akron Zips before 80,910 fans at Camp Randall Stadium. 

The Badgers ran it on 14 of the first 15 plays.  P.J. Hill (pictured) rushed 26 times for 210 yards and two touchdowns.  Sophomore Zach Brown added 87 yards on 15 carries and a touchdown, and redshirt freshman John Clay had 71 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown.

QB Allan Evridge, making his first start, didn't need to throw it much.  He finished 7 of 10 for 75 yards and a touchdown.  Evridge was also picked off once.
