It's "Cyber Monday" for Christmas shoppers.
An increasing number of holiday shoppers are making their purchases online, and Madison-based retail analyst Doug Johnson says many of them are buying on the Monday after Thanksgiving. Johnson says the Internet sales typically kick in following the first weekend of the holiday shopping season when people begin looking for deals they couldn't find in the stores.
Johnson says online sales for Cyber Monday have been increasing steadily each year. They're expected to be up 20-percent this year over 2007.
