Wisconsin man, missing teen are sought

December 17, 2008 By WRN Contributor

Law enforcement authorities from Isanti County, Minnesota are trying to track down a Wisconsin man in connection with the disappearance of a 17-year-old girl. He's also being sought by the sheriff's department in Pierce County. "We have a missing juvenile over in Isanti County ," says Pierce County Sheriff Nancy Hove. "She is related to a gentleman in our county by the name of Wade Swenson. At this time we're looking for both. We want Wade because he's wanted on some warrants that we have."

Hove says 17 year-old Christin Swenson has not been seen since she left work in downtown Red Wing, Minnesota Monday night. She's described as 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 105 pounds. She has blonde hair and brown eyes. She was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Malibu four-door, pewter in color, with Minnesota license UGA 376.

Wade James Swenson, age 36, has three outstanding warrants from Pierce County. Two of the warrants for misdemeanors and one is for felony-theft by fraud from February 2007.
