Ochocinco says he wants to Lambeau Leap

September 16, 2009 By Bill Scott

He may play for an average football team and may not have the same hard competitive drive that he once had, but Cincinnati’s Chad Ochocinco can still light up a crowd.

You never know what’s coming next.  He has more than 58,000 Twitter followers, just waiting to read what’s next.  Ochocinco loves to entertain.  His Twitter page says, “Hey, it’s me, the real Chad Ochocinco.  You can’t cover me, you can only hope to contain me.  I’m my biggest fan”.

Talking with reporters via conference call in Green Bay, Ochocinco gave you a little football and a lot of what he can do for you.  The Bengals wide receiver truely wants to Lambeau Leap, but he wants to do it while showing the fans of Green Bay respect.

Asked if he was truly committed to taking the plunge into the stands at Lambeau Field, he was totally serious.

What separates Ochocinco from any other blowhard that likes to brag is his play.  He can back it up on the field and still possesses the ability to make life real difficult on opposing defenses.  When asked if he’s surprised he has so many followers on Twitter, he said he wasn’t surprised at all.

The Packers and Bengals hook up at noon on Sunday.  We’ll see if Ochocinco can make his way into the end zone on the Packers defense.  If he does, let the fun begin.
