Milwaukee Bucks coach Scott Skiles was hospitalized with an irregular heartbeat Monday night, just before the Bucks game against the Phoenix Suns in Phoenix.
The second year Bucks coach was hospitalized for precautionary reasons but is expected to be fine.
Jim Boylan took over on the bench for the Bucks, who fell to the Phoenix Suns 105-101. The Bucks fell behind by as many as 24 points early, but fought back with a chance to win late. Hakim Warrick had 21 points and 10 rebounds in the loss.
The Bucks played without shooting guard Michael Redd. Redd left Sunday’s loss to the Lakers in the second quarter with a knee injury. An MRI in Phoenix yesterday revealed torn ACL and MCL ligaments. He’s out for the rest of the season. Bucks guard Charlie Bell says everyone has to pick it up.
