WIAC Basketbal Tournaments Continue

Tonight is the semi-finals of the 6-team WIAC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments.  The women games are 6pm tips with the men to follow.

In the men’s draw, top-seeded Whitewater hosts Superior.  Whitewater swept the season series 2-0.  The other semi-final has Stevens Point playing host to Stout.  The Pointers and Blue Devils split the season series each winning at home.  Whitewater is ranked 8th in the country and Point 9th according to D3Hoops.com.

#1 Whitewater receives a visit from Eau Claire in the Women’s bracket.  The two teams split the season series with each team earning a home win.  The Stevens Point women host Stout in the other semi-final.  They also split the season series but the victories went to the road teams.
