WIAC men’s race deadlocked going to finale

February 18, 2010 By Bill Scott

As the end to the WIAC men’s basketball regular season heads into it’s final game, there’s still a 2-team deadlock atop the standings.

Stevens Point rolled to a 78-56 win over Platteville last night to improve to 21-3 overall and 12-3 in league play.  The Pointers are tied with Whitewater for the league lead.

The Warhawks built a 10-point lead at halftime last night and coasted to a 62-50 win over Oshkosh.  The Pointers and Warhawks each have 1-game left in the WIAC regular season.
