Brewers fall to Diamondbacks in exhibition

Doug DavisThe Milwaukee Brewers did little right on Sunday, falling to the Arizona Diamondbacks 9-1 in Cactus League play.

Brewers starting pitcher Doug Davis (pictured) surrendered 9 hits, 4 walks and 6 runs in his 5 innings of work.

Reliever Carlos Villanueva gave up a 2-run homer in the 7th and Mitch Stetter surrendered an RBI double in the 8th.

The Brewers only run came on Joe Inglett’s 7th inning sacrifice fly. 

The Brewers are 13-12-1 with a week left before the start of the regular season.
