Nelson ties NBA coaching milestone

April 5, 2010 By Bill Scott

Former Milwaukee Bucks coach Don Nelson tied Lenny Wilkens for the most wins by an NBA coach when the Golden State Warriors held off Toronto 113-112.

The victory was the 1,332nd for Nelson, who can pass Wilkens when Golden State plays at Washington tomorrow night.

Nelson spent 11 seasons as the head coach of the Bucks, compiling a
540-344 regular season mark and a 42-46 playoff record.  His regular season winning percentage of .611 ranks #1 in Bucks history.
