Brewers swept by Braves at home

May 13, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Atlanta Braves pulled out a 3-game sweep of the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park on Wednesday.  The Braves broke open a close game in the 7th and cruised to a 9-2 win over the Brewers.

Brooks Conrad homered, doubled and drove in four runs for the Braves, who came into the series with the worst road record in the National League.  The Brewers own the majors worst home record, falling to 4-11.  Casey McGehee said getting swept only adds to their home woes.

After the Brewers had tied the game at 2 in the 6th, Manny Parra quickly gave it right back in the 7th.  Manager Ken Macha said he’s trying to rest the pen because they’re fried.
