Brewers begin talks with top draft pick!

June 29, 2010 By Bill Scott

The Milwaukee Brewers started contract talks with their top draft pick, Dylan Covey in Pasadena over the weekend.

Brewers scouting director Bruce Seid told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that they’re not ready to sign a deal yet, but they are excited about the discussions.

Covey is the All-American High School right hander who was the 14th player taken in the first round.  The 13th and 15th overall picks have already signed their deals.
