Obama’s affection for confection in Racine

June 30, 2010 By Jackie Johnson

The President comes to Wisconsin for a town hall meeting and a little something extra.

Before talking in Racine about the Great Recession, President Barack Obama helped to stimulate the local economy at a local bakery.

“So, I stopped off on the way here to get a Kringle.” He continues, “Maybe on the way back I’ll look for a brat and some cheese curds,” Obama jokes, “But don’t tell Michelle.”

Obama also joked that his hair was not nearly as gray when he was in Racine just a few years ago campaigning for his current job.
