The Giants take game one of their four game set with the Brewers on Monday with a 6-1 win.
A four run 7th inning to busted open a 1-1 game and for the 2nd straight game an Alcides Escobar’s error led to the big inning. The young shortstop booted a possible double-play ball that would have ended the inning with no runs across the plate. Instead the Giants put up four runs in the frame. Kameron Loe was hung with the loss. Starter Dave Bush went six strong innings, giving up just 1 run on five hits. Corey Hart extended his hit streak to 20 games with a hit in the 5th.
Milwaukee tries to bounce back tonight as Randy Wolf takes on Madison Bumgarner. They will throw the first pitch at 7:10pm inside of Miller Park.
