Field set for WIAA Summer baseball championships

The field is set for the 46th Annual WIAA Summer Baseball State Championships, which are set to take place Wednesday and Thursday at Bukolt Park in Stevens Point.  The first of four quarterfinal games get underway at 10:05am on Wednesday.  The Thursday schedule follows.

Session #1 – 10:05am

West Salem (28-5) vs. New Holstein (18-10)
West Bend West (33-2) vs. Grafton (21-9)

Session #2 – 3:35pm

New Berlin West (25-10) vs. Franklin (27-14)
Germantown (14-16) vs. Waukesha West (27-6)

The semi-finals start at 10:05am on Thursday morning followed by the Thursday afternoon championship game (3:35pm).

Arrowhead won last years State Championship, edging Marquette in the title game 5-4.
