over the Buffalo Bills.  The Green Bay Packers left tackle struggled so badly that his coach, Mike McCarthy, pulled him from the lineup midway through the second quarter.

The teams first round draft pick, Bryan Bulaga finished up and performed well.  Now, there’s a chance that Bulaga could start again this Monday night against the Bears and perhaps keep the job for the rest of the season.

Mike McCarthy said earlier this week that the job was Clifton’s when he was healthy enough to return to the lineup.  But, with Clifton’s knee bothering him, will he be healthy enough to re-claim his job?

Packers offensive coordinator said even Clifton, with all of his experience, suffers when he can’t practice.

Bulaga is expected to get plenty of reps with the 1’s this week, just in case he has to play on Monday night against the Bears.

Practice Squad

The Packers signed LB Robert Francois to the practice squad today and released T Chris Campbell.  Francois spent time on the Packers’ practice squad at the end of the 2009 season as well as earlier this season.
