Odorizzi and Komatsu earn Brewers Minor League Honors

September 27, 2010 By Bill Scott

Saturday, the Brewers announced their 2010 Robin Yount Awards recognizing their Minor League Player and Pitcher of the Year.  Bevard County (High A) Outfielder Erick Komatsu and Wisconsin (Low A) Pitcher Jake Odorizzi took home the hardware.

Komatsu hit .323 with 5-homers and 63-RBI this season.  He also added 28-steals and led the Florida State League in Runs and On-Base Percentage.  Odorizzi posted a 7-2 record as a starter with a 3.20 ERA and contributed to a no-hitter for the T-Rats in late August.
